Utilhex is a collection of small, focused tools for the everyday jobs that come up between real work: merging a PDF, shrinking a photo before emailing it, checking what changed between two config files, or decoding a token while debugging.
How Utilhex is built
- Your files stay on your device. All 38 tools currently on Utilhex run inside your browser. Files and text you use are not uploaded to our servers.
- No account required. There’s nothing to sign up for and no usage quota tied to an identity.
- No ads. Utilhex doesn’t load advertising or social-media scripts. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and does not receive files or text used in a tool.
- Honest results. If a tool can’t do something — for example, a PDF that can’t be made smaller — it says so rather than pretending.
What’s available
- PDF tools — Merge, split, compress, rotate, organize, watermark, number, and annotate PDFs, turn pages into images, or turn images into a PDF. Processed in your browser — documents are not uploaded.
- Developer tools — Format JSON, YAML, XML, and SQL, test regular expressions, hash files, compare text, decode JWTs, read certificates, and generate UUIDs. Everything runs locally in your browser.
- Image tools — Compress, resize, crop, rotate, and convert JPG, PNG, and WebP images, or build a favicon pack, in your browser. Batch processing with no uploads.
- Data tools — View and clean CSV files, compare two tables, and convert between CSV and JSON. Spreadsheet data is processed locally and never uploaded.
- Text & everyday tools — Count words and characters, change text case, generate QR codes, and convert units. Fast everyday utilities that work offline in your browser.
