About Receipt Generator
Receipt Generator writes a receipt for a payment you record yourself. It separates the purchase total from the amount paid and shows any balance still due. The PDF is a document of what you typed. It does not contact a bank, mark an invoice as paid, or prove the charge succeeded.
How to use Receipt Generator
- Enter the merchant, receipt number, and date.
- Add the items and the amount that was actually paid.
- Choose a payment method and download the PDF.
Examples
Paid in full
Set the amount paid equal to the total when the customer has paid everything.
Limitations
- The receipt does not verify a card, bank, or UPI payment.
- It does not update an invoice. Create the receipt from the details you want on it.
- Some currency symbols and non-Latin text are simplified in the PDF font.
Privacy
This tool processes everything locally in your browser tab. Your input is not uploaded to Utilhex or any third party, and it is discarded when you close or reload the page. Read the privacy policy for details.

Are my invoice or client details uploaded?
No. The document is built in your browser and the PDF downloads to your device. Reloading the page clears what you typed.
Will this mark an invoice as paid?
No. A receipt only contains what you enter on this page. It is not linked to an invoice and it is not a payment confirmation from a bank.
