About Resize Image
Resize Image scales images to an exact width and height or by a percentage, using high-quality browser resampling. Keep the aspect ratio locked to avoid stretching, or unlock it to set both dimensions exactly.
How to use Resize Image
- Add one or more images.
- Choose resize by pixels or by percentage.
- Enter the target size. With the aspect ratio locked, the other dimension is calculated for you.
- Select Resize images and download the results.

Limitations
- Upscaling cannot add detail; enlarged images may look soft.

Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Images are decoded and re-encoded by your browser on your device. Utilhex never receives them.
How does the aspect-ratio lock work with several images?
When locked, the width you enter is applied to each image and its height is calculated from that image's own proportions, so nothing is stretched.
Is photo metadata (EXIF) kept?
No. Re-encoding through the browser canvas removes EXIF data such as GPS location and camera details, which is usually a privacy benefit. The image is rotated upright first.
